    Description

    This airspeed indicator reads MPH and Mach numbers. It is a cold war era instrument and was used in many aircraft from the late 1940s through the early 1950s. This MPH/Mach indictor was used in the North American F-82 Twin Mustang, which was the last American piston-engine fighter ordered into production by the United States Air Force.  Other aircraft to use this particular instrument include:  F-82 Twin Mustang, F-86 Sabrejet, F-80 Shooting Star, F-84 Thunderjet, F-89 Scorpion, and the F-94 Starfire. The instrument reads 50 to 700 mph and has a window that indicates the aircraft's Mach number
