This airspeed indicator reads MPH and Mach numbers. It is a cold war era instrument and was used in many aircraft from the late 1940s through the early 1950s. This MPH/Mach indictor was used in the North American F-82 Twin Mustang, which was the last American piston-engine fighter ordered into production by the United States Air Force.
