    Description

    This antique Waterman Ideal fountain pen has several patent dates, the most recent being May 23, 1903.  Offered as-found, it may be for parts.  In black, the chased hard rubber body has faded significantly.  The body has scratches, wear and some ink spots.  The center ring is missing.  The nib shows some ink in the photos.  I was concerned they were cracks so I cleaned it (again) and it was just ink.  The nib is original and remains in good condition, maybe just slightly splayed.  It looks "fine" to me.  This pen measures 5 3/8" long capped.  There is no engraving.
