    Description

USAF F-86 Rounded Fuselage Skin with Rivets Sabre Jet Fighter Metal Panel
    Measures 7" x 14" x 11"
The panel is in nice condition, but we cannot guarantee its airworthiness. Sold as is, as found.
This panel would make an excellent desk top or bookcase show item for the office or home.
This is an original Korean War USAF F-86 Sabre jet fighter fuselage access panel door. The F-86 was the first successful fighter to take on the famous MIG-17 during the Korean War. With its 6 50 cal. machine guns in the nose the F-86 was a mean fighting machine. The Sabre Jet ended the Korean War with a very high kill ratio against the MIG-17. Today the F-86 is a prized warbird and several still fly in civilian hands.
This instrument was acquired at an
Historical Aviation Auction for Western PA Warbird Military Museum that was owned and operated by the late Dr. Walter V. Powell. If you are interested in vintage military aircraft parts and memorabilia, please check our other listings.
RARE ITEM, this is just what you need to complete your F-86 project or collection!
